A RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF
THE LATE JOSEPHINE PARKER

WHEREAS, Miss Josephine had worked for the Ci ty og~~:y ~s~

WHEREAS, Miss Josephine exemplified the
service and performed her numerous duties with
of trust, skill and integrity; and
WHEREAS, Miss Josephine treated all people with patience,
respect and dignity, and was always there when needed; and
WHEREAS, Miss Josephine was called, "the heart of the city,"
and has left a void in the hearts of all those who were blessed to
have known her; and
WHEREAS, Miss Josephine was a devoted wife, mother and
grandmother and leaves her husband Vonsel, and many loving family
members; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA
Section 1. The Board hereby adopts this Resolution as
evidence of its regret and mourning for the passing of the late
Josephine Parker and in recognition of her extensive dedication and
vast public service to the people of Key West and Monroe County,
Florida.
Section 2. The board hereby requests the Clerk to forward
copies of this Resolution to her beloved husband, Vonsel Parker,
expressing the Board's sincere condolences.
ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 10th day
