Agreement between Monroe County and Danise Henriquez, Tax Collector, for services of the Tax Collector in levying and collecting residential solid waste non -ad valorem assessments within the City of Marathon. Amendment to Agreement between Monroe County and Florida Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. to delete City of Marathon traffic signals and street lights from the maintenance agreement dated December 20, 1995, and to rescind the September 20, 2000 approval of amendment to agreement for same. Copies: Finance File ✓ AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT ~ THIS AMENDMENT made this _ / IJtfl.day of _ _ .r:;p?-/ ~ _~, 2003, by and between the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative Association, Inc., (~e/ein~tter called FKEC) and the County of Monroe, Florida (hereinafter called County), a political subdivision of the State of Florida, WHEREAS, the parties hereto did enter into an agreement dated December 20, 1995 for the operation and maintenance of street lights and traffic signals within FKEC's service area in Monroe County; and WHEREAS, the County will transfer to the municipality of Marathon, the rights and responsibilities pertaining to roads affected by the agreement between the above parties as of October 1, 2000; and WHEREAS, the County will no longer have rights and responsibilities of said roads; and WHEREAS, it is desired to amend the existing agreement to delete the lighting and traffic signals affecting those roads for which the County transferred rights and responsibilities to Marathon; NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the parties ~ agr~ as follow~: c) 1.,-01 <l: ~I~: S::: 1~.;;: Paragraph 1 of the Agreement entered into December 20, 1995, as previously amended c:: :5 ..C~.>:: to delete the maintenance of traffic signals and street lights listed in Exhibit A, attached 0:::,- a::: ~ hereto and incorporated herein by reference, effective October 1, 2000, a !.r) OO_:J LL..
