RESOLUTION NO. -1999
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE ASSIGNMENT OF ELDERLY
HOMEOWNER REHABILITATION PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $16,126 TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF KEY WEST
AND LOWER FLORIDA KEYS, INC. ON BEHALF OF THE VERY-LOW
INCOME/HANDICAPPED HOUSEHOLD OF JULIA AND FREDERICO
RODRIGUEZ, B16 EIGHTH AVENUE, STOCK ISLAND, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, The Monroe County Housing Authority is the County's program administrator for
the County's recaptured funds from the Elderly Homeowner Rehabilitation program with the State of
Florida; and
WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys, Inc. is recognized as a
qualified partner providing construction and rehabilitation services to Very-Low and Low-Income
Households in Monroe County; and
WHEREAS, Habitat for Humanity of Key West and Lower Florida Keys, Inc. ~ id2nti~ ~
need to replace the Hurricane damaged home of Julia and Fredrico Rodriguez with a h~~ a~ssi~
unit and have commitment to complete the project; ~~~.~ - d

SECTION 1. Authorizes the Monroe County Housing Authority through its Sp~iaIPro4famsc:J
Office to dedicate remaining recaptured funds under the Elderly Homeowner Rehabilitation
Program Funds in the amount of$16,126 for reimburse to Habitat of Humanity of Key West and
Lower Florida Keys, Inc. for authorized costs in the rehabilitation of the property of Julia and
Frederico Rodriguez, a very low income household, located at B 16 Eighth A venue, Stock Island,
Florida,
SECTION 2. Authorizes the expenditure of$16,126 from Fund 100, Cost center 01002,
account numbers 530340, Construction ($14,513) and 530341, Administration ($1,613) to offset
the costs of site preparation and handicap accessibility.
PASSED AND ADOPTED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida at a
