At the September 18, 2002, Board of County Commissioner's meeting the Board granted approval
and authorized execution of the following:
Supplemental Joint Participation Agreement, Contract No. AJ816, between Monroe
County and the Florida Department of Transportation revising the project description to include
funding for the Sheriff's Hangar at the Florida Keys Marathon Airport.
Enclosed are three duplicate originals of the IP A, executed on behalf of Monroe County, ~<5r your
handling. Please be sure that the fully executed "Monroe County Clerk's Office Originals" and the
"Monroe County Finance Department's Originals" are returned to this office as soon as possible.
/ Grant Agreement, Project No. 3-12-0044-017-2002, between Monroe County and the
Federal Aviation Administration, to fund the Runway Marking project at the Florida Keys
Marathon Airport. Enclosed is a duplicate original for your handling.

OFFER
THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION, FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE UNITED STATES, HEREBY OFFERS AND AGREES to pay, as
the United States' share, ninety percent( 90%) of the allowable costs incurred in accomplishing the project consisting of the following:
"Rehabilitate Runway 7/25 Marking"
as more particularly described in the Project Application dated August 9, 2002.
The maximum obligation of the United States payable under this Offer shall be $90,000 for airport development.
This offer is made in accordance with and for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of Title 49, United States Code, herein called Title 49
U.S.C. Acceptance and execution of this offer shall comprise a Grant Agreement, as provided by Title 49 U.S.C., constituting the contractual
obligations and rights of the United States and the Sponsor.
