A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, RENOUNCING AND DISCLAIMING ANY RIGHT OF THE COUNTY AND THE
PUBLIC IN AND TO A PORTION OF PICARD LANE, CUTTHROAT HARBOR ESTATES,
CUDJOE KEY, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires to renounce
and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets, alley-
ways, roads or highways, and

WHEREAS, the Board has determined that vacation of the said road is for the general public
welfare, and conforms to the requirement of Florida Statutes Sec. 336.09 and Sec. 336.10, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA. that
the Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the
following described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described
map or plat to-wit:
A PARCEL OF LAND ON CUDJOE KEY, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA AND BEING
THE WESTERLY PART OF THE "Tn AT THE NORTH END OF PICARD LANE, LYING
SOUTHERLY OF AND ADJACENT TO LOT 8 AND PART OF LOT 7, BLOCK 8,
CUTTHROAT HARBOR ESTATES, FIRST ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT
THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 5 AT PAGE 60 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA AND BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS:
COMMENCE AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LOT 7, OF SAID BLOCK 8 AND
THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY, ALONG THE NORTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF SAID
PICARD LANE 50 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING OF THE PARCEL OF LAND
HEREIN DESCRIBED; THENCE CONTINUE 47.5 FEET TO THE END OF SAID "T";
THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY AT A RIGHT ANGLE ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
SAID PICARD LANE 25 FEET TO A POINT; THENCE NORTHEASTERLY AT A RIGHT
ANGLE, ALONG THE RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF PICARD LANE, 47.5 FEET TO A
POINT; THENCE NORTHWESTERLY AT A RIGHT ANGLE 25 FEET BACK TO THE POINT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe Coun. Florida, will hold a
public hearing on Wednesday, Octo-
ber 13, 1999 3:00 PM at the Harvey
Gov't Center-Truman School, 1200
Truman at Avenue, Key West, Flori-
da, for the purpose of determining
whether or not the following streets,
alley-ways, roads or highways shall
be abandoned:
A parcel of land on Cudjoe Key,
Monroe County, Florida and being
the Westerly part of the "T" at the
North end of Picard Lane, lying
Southerly of and adjacent to lot 8
and part of lot 7, bock 8, Cutthroat
Harbor Estates, first addition, ac-
cording to the plat thereof,as record-
ed in plat book 5 at page 60 of the
Public Records of Monroe County,
Florida and being more particularly
described as follows:
Commence at the Southeast corner
of Lot 7, of said block 8 and thence
Southwesterly, along the Northerly
Right-of-Way line of said Picard
Lane 50 feet to the point of begin-
ning of the parcel of land herein de-
scribed; thence continue 47.5 feet to
the end of said "T"; thence South-
easterly at a right angle along the
Right-of-Way line of said Picard
Lane 25 feet to a point; thence
Northeasterly at a Right Angle,along
the Right-of-Way line of Picard lane,
47.5 feet to a Point; thence North-

back to the point of beginning.
