County Administrator
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS MAY, BY RESOLUTION, APPROVE ADDITIONAL COMPENSATION TO THE
NEWLY EMPLOYED DIRECTOR OF PLANNING, TIMOTHY McGARRY, IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $5000; PROVIDING FOR CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS ON SUCH COMPENSATION;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES
INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION INTO THE MONROE
COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA:
Section 1.
The Board of County Commissioners may, by resolution, reimburse the newly
employed Director of Planning, Timothy McGarry, in an amount not to exceed $5,000, for moving
expenses. This additional compensation shall be available on a one-time only basis.
Section 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed

providing that the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners may,by Resolution,
approve additional compensation to the newly employed Director of Planning, Timothy
McGarry,in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00;providing for certain restrictions on
such compensation; providing for severability; providing for the repeal of all ordinances
inconsistent herewith;providing for incorporation into the Monroe County Code of
Ordinances; and providing for an effective date.
This Ordinance was adopted by the Monroe County Board of County
Commissioners at a Regular Meeting, in formal session, on April 17, 1996.
