The date of Substantial Completion as of the date of this Change Order is .. . ...... ..... 8/07/2023
Detailed description of change order and justification:
t the request of the Key West Art&Historical Society(KWAHS), the anticipated construction
commencement date of September 13, 2022 has been postponed until April 10, 2'023. The original U
21
construction start date for the project occurred at the beginning of the busy season for the Key West
Lighthouse attraction and would have had a detrimental impact on revenue expected during this timeframe.
0
As such, While the Notice to proceed Will remain September 13„ 2022, to accommodate preconstructibn _
activities and submittals, the Contractor and KWAHS have mutually agreed to push the construction N
mobilization date back to April 10, 2028, Without any increase to the construction budget. The Contractor N
Was contractually granted 120 days to complete construction. Therefore, the substantial completion date
Will be moved from January 10, 2023, to August 7, 2023. This delayed mobilization allows time for project
completion prior to the Tl C grant expiration date of September 30, 2023.
