ITEM BACKGROUND: This item seek authorization for the BOCC to fund and make payment for website development and hosting services for the 161h Judicial Circuit and as needed for the Board to waive its purchasing policy requiring three price quotes given the short timeframe. Court administration will enter into a contract with Designed2Click upon authorization of funding by the BOCC. The 16th Judicial Circuit was recently notified by our current website hosting vendor that they will no longer be providing website hosting services beyond February 28, 2023. Given the short timeframe, we were only able to secure two quotes that specialize in web and graphic design that could work within our tight project timeline. As part of the authorization of funding and payment, Court Administration seeks waiver of the County's purchasing policy requiring three written price quotes given the short timeframe. Both vendors that provided proposals/price quotes are based in Florida and have clients from various State of Florida agencies. Designed2Click has designed websites for several courts within the State Courts System. Based on the one-time project cost, the lower annual costs and the fact the vendor has designed websites for other circuit courts in the State of Florida, we believe Designed2Click provides the better value and will best fit the Circuit's needs.
