A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF FIRE
AND AMBULANCE DISTRICT 1 OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, ELECTING A CHAIRPERSON AND VICE-
CHAIRPERSON
WHEREAS, Section 1.b) of Ordinance No. 45-1988 provides that the Chairperson and
Vice-Chairperson of the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 shall be elected
by the district governing board for a one year term which may be successive; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary for the members of the Board of Governors to
elect a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for 2023;
NOW THERFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF
FIRE AND AMBULANCE DISTRICT 1 OF MONROE COUNTY,FLORIDA:
Section 1. Bruce Halle is hereby elected as Chairperson of the
Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 of Monroe County, Florida.
Section 2. Greg Lewis is hereby elected as Vice-Chairperson of
the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1 of Monroe County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Governors of Fire and Ambulance District 1
of Monroe County,Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 18th day of January,
2023.
