AMENDMENT ONE TO AGREEMENT FOR
REAL ESTATE AND CLOSING SERVICES BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY
AND THE LAW OFFICES OF ANTHONY J. BARROWS LLC.
This Amendment("Amendment One")is made and entered into this 10th th day of February ,
2023 by and between Monroe County("COUNTY'), a political subdivision of the State of Florida,
whose address is 1100 Simonton Street, Key West, Florida, 33040, thorough the Monroe County
Board of County Commissioners (`BOCC"),
AND
The Law Offices of Anthony J.Barrows,LLC,a Limited Liability Corporation of the State of Florida
whose address is 540 Key Deer Boulevard, Big Pine Key,Florida, 33043,its successors and assigns,
hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR"or"CONSULTANT."
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the Agreement for Real Estate and Closing Services ("AGREEMENT")
between The Law Offices of Anthony J.Barrows, LLC,and the COUNTY was entered into the 18th
day of June 2021; and
WHEREAS, the COUNTY was notified by The Law Offices of Anthony J. Barrows, LLC,
on January 23, 2023,that it is now conducting business as Wright Barrows, PLLC.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of mutual promises, covenants and contracts stated
herein, and for other good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is hereby
acknowledged,the parties agree:
Section 1. Recitals and Le-islative Intent. The foregoing recitals, findings of fact, and
statements of legislative intent are true and correct and are hereby incorporated as if fully stated
herein.
Section 2_. The AGREEMENT is amended as follows:
1) The parties to the AGREEMENT hereby agree that Wright Barrows, PLLC, shall be
substituted as the CONTRACTOR/CONSULTANT in place of The Law Offices of
Anthony J. Barrows, LLC.
2) Article 1, Paragraph 1.1.9: The effective date of this AGREEMENT is June 18, 2021,
with an original term date of June 17, 2023. The COUNTY is extending this
AGREEMENT for an additional one (1)year at the same terms and conditions. The new
termination date is June 17, 2024. The COUNTY shall have the option of extending the
AGREEMENT in one-year increments for up to two (2) years at the same terms and
conditions with approval of the COUNTY's governing board. Such extension(s) shall be
in the form of a written Amendment to the AGREEMENT and shall be executed by both
parties.

3) Attachment B — Rates: The Recording Fee (per additional page or closing as
appropriate) is being corrected from $8.00 for each additional page to $8.50 for each
additional page.
The remainder of the terms and conditions of the AGREEMENT remain unchanged by this
Amendment, and continue in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, each party caused this Amendment One to the Agreement to be
executed by its duly authorized representative.
