This does not affect the contract amount, but releases contingency funds already included in the Guaranteed Maximum Price for work that was either not foreseen or for which a price could not be determined at the time of contract execution. The amount requested is $1,282.00. The attached Release of Owner Contingency Request provides the details. This is being provided to ensure the BOCC is aware of this change.
