ITEM BACKGROUND: There was one change order approved by the County Administrator's office during the period of 03/01/06 - 03/31/06 totaling $153,188.50. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On September 9,1998, Ordinance No. 026-1998 was adopted in order to provide that the County Administrator may approve separate, non- cumulative change orders for construction project contracts and professional service contracts in amounts not to exceed $25,000.00 or 5% of the original contract price, whichever is greater. The BOCC requested a monthly report of all change orders considered by the County Administrator. The credit for 8" crown molding in lieu of 12" crown molding is based on a proposal from our supplier, Baron Manufacturing. The credit for deleting the Jury Seating is based on Add Alternate #4, less the cost for services furnished to date under the scope of th is Work Item.
