AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Discussion and direction for county staff to create a task force whose
purpose is to eliminate duplication of services and create better coordination between non-profit
agencies. The task force would be comprised of representatives from non-profit agencies, members of
the Human Services Advisory Board who are willing to participate, and a board member plus alternate
from the Lower Keys Interagency Council.
ITEM BACKGROUND: This concept was discussed and there was support for in 2003-2004. Due
to elections the process was set aside.
