Re: 911 Monthly Maintenance Item Background
On July 7, 2006 Monroe County completed our commitment to the contract with
Bellsouth for the purchase and maintenance of the 911 equipment. To ensure the
reliability of the system, we are requesting approval to advertise for sealed bids
for the maintenance of the 911 system county wide. This bid will be for a month
to month maintenance agreement on the 911 equipment. The 911 equipment is
located at the Key West Police Department, Monroe County Sheriffs Office
Central Dispatch, and the Ocean Reef Public Safety Building.
