"Reggie" Paros, Director Housing and Community Development Florida Keys Marathon Airport Manager SUBJECT: Agenda Item re: Possible Changes for Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations DATE: August 1, 2006 The Workforce Housing Task Force has determined that significant impediments exist for the continued development of affordable housing in Monroe County, due to Comprehensive Plan height limitations, parking regulations, density requirements and floor area ratios. The Workforce Housing Task Force requests guidance and direction from the Board for pursuit of any Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations changes for affordable housing, concerning these issues.
