Dear Susan: ,........-- , BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Mayor Charles "Sonny" McCoy, District 3 Mayor Pro Tern Dixie M. Spehar, District 1 George Neugent, District 2 Mario Di Gennaro, District 4 Glenn Patton, District 5 :1)' -jp- Unfortunately, my medical treatments require that I be in Miami today, so I regret that I am unable to participate in the celebration of your selection as Employee ofthe Month. However, please know that I am extremely pleased with the selection, and I congratulate you on this most deserved recognition. Throughout my thirty-eight years in the fire rescue service, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work, directly and indirectly, with a number of hard-working administrative professionals for twenty-one of those years. Of those twenty-one years, nine of them have afforded me an administrative assistant who worked directly for me. I can safely say that the last four years have shown me the best of the best. Your combination of administrative and people skills, your strong financial background along with a healthy dose of good sense and organizational conscience, have made my challenging job all that much easier, and I personally thank you for your dedication and hard work. Unless they are totally oblivious, each of the division and department directors throughout Monroe County Government know how valuable good administrative professionals are. We in the Emergency Services Division know that our organization could not possibly accomplish what it does; indeed it could not even survive, without all of the help of our administrative professionals, especially the fine executive assistant being recognized today. Once again, congratulations on a job well done. Chief Clark O. Martin, Ir. Emergency Services Division l>.S
