After advertising and receiving sealed bids, we have found the low bid from Power Pro -Tech Services, Inc. meets or exceeds all our requirements. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: At the 5/I6/06 regular meeting, the BOCC gave approval to advertise for sealed bids for one (I) new emergency generator for the Marathon Jail, CONTRACT/AGREEMENT CHANGES: N/A ,STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS: Approval to purchase as stated above "from the low bidder", Power Pro -Tech Services, Inc. After requesting and receiving BOCC approval to go out for bids, they were opened 8/15/06. After reviewing of all bids and direct communications with the low bidder Power Pro - Tech Services, Inc., it was determined their bid meets or exceeds all requirements. The Fleet Management Department's recommendation is for the County to provide a purchase order from County hurricane account number 0459105-560640 in the total amount of $40,890,00.
