ITEM BACKGROUND: County vehicle 0903-1007 is a 2002 Dodge 1500 pickup truck that was
turned in as surplus. The Monroe County Sheriffs Office recently requested that the vehicle be
transferred to them as they are in need of a vehicle of this type.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: On an as needed basis, the County has transferred
surplus vehicles to the Sheriff s Office when requested, and the Sheriff has done likewise.
