The Sugarloaf Key Volunteer Fire Department is currently managing a program to recruit and retain
volunteers for all of the volunteer fire departments in Monroe County. As a part of this effort, a vehicle
for use by the Project Manager would be an asset. The vehicle would be painted the traditional re
d and
white colors, and would also display information relating to the recruitment of volunteer fire fighters.
The vehicle would not have emergency lights or a siren.
We are requesting Monroe County to donate one of the surplus vehicles, for this purpose, that
will be
sold at public auction. Our request would be for an intermediate size vehicle if at all possible. A full size
vehicle would also be appreciated if an intermediate size vehicle is not available.
If additional information is needed, you may contact me by e-mail at Chief Su arloafvfd.ar or b
