YEARS OF SERVICE AWARD
to
JAMES HYDE
James Hyde, Maintenance Mechanic, Facilities Maintenance Department,
Public Works Division, has been employed by Monroe County since October of
1979.
Mr. Hyde began his employment with the County as a Communications
Technician Assistant for Civil Defense, part of the County's Disaster Preparedness
Department at the time, where he worked for nearly 10 years.
In 1988, Jimmy transferred to the Public Works Division as a Maintenance
Worker working in the Corrections, Facilities Maintenance and Parks & Beaches
sections. In 1994, he was promoted to his present position as a Maintenance
Mechanic, currently assigned to Jackson Square in Key West.
During his tenure with the County, Mr. Hyde has proven to be a very
valuable member of the staff. This is evidenced by his personnel file which is
filled with commendations for his outstanding work. Nearly every office in
Jackson Square has written letters of appreciation in recognition of his exceptional
performance and dedication.
Mr. Hyde is an outstanding employee; he is an asset to Public Works and
Monroe County, and we are extremely proud to recognize him for his 30+ years of
service to Monroe County.
