ITEM BACKGROUND: Monroe County has embarked on its journey to performance excellence. Newly revised Mission, Vision and Value Statements were created and adopted to provide the principles that guide us. To celebrate and proclaim our commitment, the members of the Board of County Commissioners, along with all employees, will sign the Mission, Vision and Values Statements to declare and pledge our dedication to the County's journey to excellence.
