AND WRIGHT BARROWS, PLLC. FOR THE VOLUNTARY HOME BUYOUT PROGRAM FOR TASKS
AND DELIVERABLES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC
OPPORTUNITY SUB-RECIPIENT AGREEMENT 10092
In accordance with the contract for-Real Estate and Closing Services made and entered on the
18th day of June 2021, as amended on the 10th day of February 2023, by and between Monroe
County hereinafter referred to as the "County" and Wright Barrows PLLC., hereinafter referred
to as "Consultant"for the Voluntary Home Buyout Program.
All terms and conditions of the referenced Contract for Real Estate and Closing Services shall
apply to this Task Order, unless the Task Order modifies an Article of the Contract which will be
specifically referenced in this Task Order and the amendment, addition or modification shall be
precisely described.
This Task Order is effective on the. 8th day of ulgu$t 2023.
1. In accordance with the Real Estate and Closing Services contract, attachment A,Scope of
Work and Pricing, the Consultant will perform real estate closing and escrow services as
listed below on the parcels listed below:
• Prepare all necessary closing documents
• Conduct closing activities to complete property acquisitions, including coordination of
mortgage payoffs, tax escrows, disbursement of funds, and other matters required to
convey clear title
• Record deeds and other instruments required to perfect title
• Record a restrictive covenant or other deed restriction for selected parcels, in
perpetuity, that provides for the proper land use that is compatible with open space,
recreation, or floodplain and wetlands management practices pursuant to 83 Fed.
Reg. 5863. (The deed restriction will be prepared by the County and must be recorded
on any real property or facility, excluding easements, acquired with CDBG-DR funds.
This restriction shall limit the use of that real property or facility to the allowable uses
stated in the subrecipient agreement and require that title shall remain in the name
of Monroe County. Such deed restriction shall be made a part of the public records in
the Clerk of the Court in and for Monroe County.)
• Provide escrow services
• Provide post settlement documents and filing receipts
• Provide related services as directed

Closing Fee (per parcel): $325.00..
Recording Fee (per page or closing as appropriate): $10.00 first page, $8.00 each
additional page
2. Prior to beginning the work, Individual or grouped requests for real estate closing and
escrow tasks on specific parcels will be subject to a Notice to Proceed issued via email
from the County to the Consultant.
3. This Task Order Nine shall be effective as of mm ,August 8th 2023 and shall
remain in effect until such services are no longer required or in accordance with section
9.5 of the contract.
4. All other Terms and Conditions of the Task Order shall remain in accordance with the
Contract dated June 18, 2021, as amended on February 10, 2023.
