Confirmation of the County Administrator's appointment of Tina Boan to the position of Senior
Director of the office of Budget & Finance.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
The position of Division Director of the office of Budget & Finance became vacant in October of2007.
Soon thereafter, Ms. Boan was temporarily assigned the duties of the Division Director while
maintaining her current title of Senior Budget Manager. The Administration advertised the DivIsion
DIrector's position twice and received several applicants; however, only one of the applicants held
prior government work experience. After holding interviews, it was very clear that the current Senior
Budget Manager was the ideal candidate for the position. The Division Director position has been
reclassified to a Sr. Director position and Tina Boan has been selected to fulfill this position with a cost
savmgs of approximately $20,000.
