20 YEARS OF SERVICE
Priscilla has been an employee with Monroe County since February 22, 1988.
She began her employment with the County as a Temporary Code Enforcement
Aide and throughout her service with the County has served in the capacity of
Assistant in the Building, Emergency Management and Fire Marshal's
Departments. She has been the Safety Administrator since 1994 and her duties
include training and educating management in the areas of safety, inspecting
county facilities and public property for loss control, fire and life safety;
investigating accidents and being proactive in the prevention of future incidents.
Throughout Priscilla's career she has dedicated many hours to teach at various
schools and civic organizations throughout the County regarding emergency
preparedness, evacuation, chemical exposure, hazardous materials and fire and
safety requirements. She has consistently pursued certifications during her
employment in the areas of Emergency Management, Fire and Safety and has
acquired awards for her Playground Inspection and Refuge of Last Resort
Programs - - just to name a few.
Priscilla has served as the Certified Public Manager's local Chapter President
since June 2005 and, with the help of her fellow Chapter Members, coordinated
and facilitated the recent `Government Going Green Symposium' that was held
this past March.

takes pride in her commitment to the Safety Program and in having a safe
working environment and community. We are proud to recognize Priscilla for
her 20 years of service to Monroe County.
