ITEM BACKGROUND: House Bill 909 changed the composition of the Value Adjustment Board. Instead of the Board consisting of three BOCC Commissioners and two School Board Members, it is now comprised of two BOeC Commissioners; one School Board Member; and two citizen members (l appointed by the BOCC - 1 appointed by the MeSB). Additionally, the citizen member cannot be a member or employee of any taxing authority, and cannot be a person who represents property owners in any administrative or judidal review of property (axes. Any person interested in being considered for appointment to the Value Adjustment Board, and who meets the statutory requirements, must complete the following fonn and submit it to the Clerk of the Circuit Court no later than 4:00 P.M., July 25,2008.
