AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to appoint Jeffrey Pinkus to the Green Ribbon Task Force.
ITEM BACKGROUND: Mr. Pinkus is the President, foreman, and qualifier of Pinkus Construction, a
full service general contracting corporation since 1982. History of community involvement includes terms
served as a Councilman and Mayor for the City of Marathon; Middle Keys Community Land Trust,
Board member; Rotary Club of Marathon; Guardian At Litem for 16th Judicial Circuit; coach and judge
of Odyssey ofthe Mind Youth Competitions, local and state levels; coach/referee of youth athletics, and
American Cancer Society Relay for Life.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: The BOCC adopted Resolution #177-2008 creating the
task force to evaluate and recommend green building techniques for possible inclusion in a local technical
amendment to the Florida Building Code,
