provide mitigation land in support of the Big Pine Key Habitat Conservation Plan.
The subject property is a 5.9 acre parcel on Warner Street and Beach Drive located near MM 31 on the
bayside of Big Pine Key. The property is designated Tier 1, zoned Suburban Residential, and
classified by the County's habitat maps as a freshwater wetland.
The Land Authority's standard purchase contract will be used for this transaction. The agenda packet
spreadsheet lists the purchase price and estimated closing costs.
Advisory Committee Action: On 7/30/08 the Land Authority Advisory Committee voted 5/0 to
approve this acquisition.
