Question Question from Marshall Quarles Ajax Building Company, LLC on Thursday,Aug 24, 2023 at 09:26 AM EDT
Please advise if P-5 wall behind the two dryers in Laundry Room 268 should be furred out to accommodate running the
exhaust vent in the wall with a dryer box termination at the floor level in lieu of having exposed exhaust duct behind the dryers
due to the 4"round exhaust not being able to fit in the 3-5/8"P-5 wall type. In addition to this, it is recommended to add lint
traps in the wall just above each dryer due to the length of the overhead run of exhaust duct before it exits the building out the
generator room exterior wall.
Please see attached sketch for clarity.
