ITEM BACKGROUND: On January 19,2006 Ms. Wald was cited for violation of County Code 19-95 for having abandoned her vehicle at the entrance to Rainbow's End Trailer Park. The code enforcement inspector was unable to locate Ms. Wald and effectuated service by posting. The case was brought before the Special Magistrate on May 25, 2006 at which time she was found in violation. The Special Magistrate set compliance for June 13,2006 after which a fine would begin to run in the amount of $250.00 per day. The case was brought into compliance on May 31, 2006 when the County had the vehicle towed away. At the time, fines and costs, including the tow bill, totaled $12,123.50.
