Mr. D'Ascanio is a lifelong resident of Marathon with extensive experience in
recreational water uses (he is a committed boating enthusiast, holds recreational
fishing licenses and is a certified diver). Through his company, D'Asign Source
LLC, of which Mr. D'Ascanio is a principal and manager, the proposed appointee
has extensive experience in Army Corps of Engineering, Florida Department of
Environmental Protection and South Florida Water Management District dock,
mooring and coastal water use permitting processes. Mr. D'Ascanio is also a
principal manager of a marine -related property in Marathon (now known as Keys
Boat Works).
