Attached is a proposed change order for D.L. Porter Constructors, Inc. for
Demolition of the Public Service Building for approval.
According to the ordinance adopted by the Board of County Commissioners,
proposed change orders are to be presented to members of the Board of County
Commissioners prior to approval, assuming they are within the Administrator's
prescribed limits. Change orders not within the Administrator's authority are
placed on the BOCC agenda.

Detailed description of change order and justification:
This cost is for the unforeseen condition involvina the additional work required to remove a
buried concrete diesel fuel tank which fueled the furnace that was used for the cremation of bio-
waste and must be removed. cleaned out and the tank demolished. The tank weiahs 90,000
ounds and FDEP re uir ents must be followed for tank closure.
