ITEM BACKGROUND: Monroe County will require debris collection services in the event of hurricane; the RFP will allow the County to select a contractor in advance of an event requiring County response. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: In February 2002, the BOCC approved a five year agreement with DRC, Inc. for Disaster Response and Recovery Services. This agreement will expire on April 1, 2007.
