COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA TO
ALLOCATE THIRD PENNY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT REVENUE

NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA that
Section 1.
Of the District I Third Penny Tourist Development revenues, after
allocation of administrative expenses and prior to allocations for any other purpose, the
County shall allocate to the Renourishment of Smathers Beach Design and Construction
Project the following:

Section 2.
The monies so allocated shall be placed in a special account
designated for the Renourishment of Smathers Beach Construction and Design Project.
Section 3.
The monies shall be expended only if, and after, the following conditions
are met:
aJ The Federal/State government provides matching funds for said project;
bJ The City of Key West provides the same dollar amount as the County for
said project; and
cJ There have been issued all necessary State and Federal permits for the
project to proceed.
