Personal Care involves bathing and dressing. Sandy is a very caring individual and goes out of her way for her clients, she will even assist with shopping and cleaning for them. Her clients who are elderly and disabled are very fond of Sandy. Sandy is a team player and never thinks of herself but of others. Whether it be a staff member who needs assistance or a client that needs a little extra help Sandy is always there with never a complaint. Recently one of Sandy's clients advised In-Home Services that Sandy saved her life. Sandy was at her clients home to bathe her. This client lives alone. Sandy noticed that the client was not herself and wanted to call the ambulance for her. The client refused. Sandy insisted that the client needed an ambulance. The client finally consented for Sandy to call 911. This client was having a medical emergency which would have resulted in her death if left unattended. The client realizes that if not for Sandy's caring and persistance, the client would have died. Sandy's attention to detail has indeed saved this persons life and Sandy deserves recognition for her unfailing dedication to her clients.
