The Purpose : The purpose of the process is to combine county planning i with community conversation to gather input from residents, stakeholders, municipalities and other agencies for use by the BOCC in their decision making regarding possible revisions to the MC Rate of Growth Ordinance and evacuation time . The Team : • Kevin Wilson- Oversight of project • Kimberly Matthews- Coordination of the overall process and facilitation of community, stakeholder and municipal input • Emily Schemper & staff- ROGO and all things planning expertise • Kristen Livengood- PR & social media expertise • Derek Howard- Takings expertise • Bob Shillinger- All things legal • Shannon Weiner- Emergency Management and evacuation expertise The Process : Three Phases : • Phase 1- 30K ft View- Planning & Gathering Broad view • Phase 2-With a narrowing focus, what are the most important factors? • Phase 3- Homestretch- feedback on specifics The Process : Three Components to each Phase : • Team Collaboration- Internal planning and analysis.
