Resolution 131-2024 RESOLUTION NO. 131-2024 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA APPROVING THE WRITE-OFF OF A$45,000.00 SHIP SECOND MORTGAGE WHEREAS,the Monroe County SHIP Program executed a SHIP Second Mortgage between the County and ANGELA S.GOODRICH in the amount of$45,000.00 on SEPTEMBER 19,2008, recorded on OCTOBER 01,2008,as Document#1713894, Book 2382, Page 1586 of the public records of Monroe County, Florida,secured by the property located at 3314 NORTHSIDE DRIVE, UNIT#32, KEY WEST, FLORIDA,33040;and WHEREAS,the First Mortgagee(EVERBANK)filed a foreclosure action as well as a Notice of Lis Pendens on SEPTEMBER 27, 2012, Document#1901790, Book 2592, Page 37;and WHEREAS,a Final Judgment of Foreclosure was Ordered on APRIL 4, 2013, Document#1927855, Book 2622, Page 618,sale by auction was set for MAY 8, 2013,and the property was sold to the highest bidder on MAY 8, 2013, Document 1932449, Book 2628, Page 271;and WHEREAS,the SHIP Mortgage was unable to be satisfied as the proceeds from the sale were insufficient to allow for a recovery;and WHEREAS, FEDERAL NATIONAL MORTGAGE ASSOCIATION took title to the property on MAY 28, 2013, Document#1935148, Book 2631, Page 352; and NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida that the County hereby: Authorizes the write-off of a SHIP Second Mortgage Loan in the amount of$45,000.00 formerly secured by the property located at 3314 Northside Drive, Unit#32, Key West, Florida, 33040. PASSED AND ADOPTED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida at a regular meeting of said Board on the 17th day of April 2024.
