WHEREAS, the Department is authorized by section 287.042(16), Florida Statutes: To evaluate contracts let by the Federal Government, another state, or a political subdivision for the provision of commodities and contract services, and, if it is,determined by the Secretary of the Department of Management Services in writing to be cost-effective and the.best value to the state, to enter into,a written agreement authorizing an agency to make purchases under such contract; WHEREAS, the State of Colorado through NASPO, competitively procured-copiers and managed print services and executed NASPO ValuePoint Master Agreement No, 140595, Copiers and Managed Print Services (Master Agreement), with the Contractor; and WHEREAS, the Secretary evaluated the Master Agreement and determined that use of the Master Agreement is cost-effective and the best value to the state. NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Parties agree as follows: 1. Term and Effective Date. The Master Agreement became effective August 8, 2019, and its terrvi currently ends on December 31, 2022. The Master Agreement has two (2) years of renewals available. The Contract will become effective on January 1, 2022 or on the date signed by all Parties, whichever is later. The Contract will expire on December 31, 2022 unless terminated earlier or renewed in accordance with Exhibit B, Special Contract Conditions. 2. Order of Precedence. This Contract document and the attached exhibits constitute the Contract and the entire understanding of the Parties.
