This Task Order is entered into on the effective date noted above pursuant to the "Master
Agreement for Professional Services" between Monroe County, Florida ("Client") and JACOBS
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CO. ("Consultant"), dated February 16, 2022 ("Agreement"). The
Agreement is incorporated herein and forms an integral part of this Task Order.

Window and Storefront Door Replacement — Design
SCOPE OF WORK
Jacobs will provide architectural and structural engineering documents for the replacement of the
existing non-impact windows and storefront doors. These improvements will be located at The
Florida Keys Marathon International Airport in Marathon, Florida.All design work shall be
designed in accordance with the Florida Building Code 8th Edition 2023.
Jacobs will analyze the existing facility and propose a design for the replacement of the existing
windows and storefront doors as part of the base scope of work. The base scope services will
include replacement of all windows within the terminal areas on the ground and second floors.
This includes the replacement of the storefront type doors as well. The windows in the U.S.
Customs and Border Protection(CBP) area will not be evaluated at this time. A cost estimate for
client review and recommendation will be provided. Scope also includes field verifying and
reviewing the existing conditions. It is our assumption that there is existing structural capacity for
all the window and door jambs, sills and headers for the base scope of work window and
storefront doors replacement. Structural upgrades to accommodate the new windows will be
evaluated and recommendations provided. Structural upgrades to accommodate the new windows

EXISTING CONDITIONS
The current windows are not impact type and area in need of replacement. The scope includes
only replacing the existing windows. Both the existing storefront doors and windows shall be
replaced. All other exterior openings such as solid metal doors and louvers shall remain in place
and are not a part of this scope of work.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The design and bidding services will provide the following:
Article A— 90%Design
The project will be designed in only two phases 90%and 100%. This will allow review from the
owner of design documents and incorporation of any comments provided during that review.
A site verification field visit with the architectural and engineering team will be included.
The specific tasks Jacobs will perform are as follows:

A meeting with Monroe County will be held virtually to review the 90% Design documents and
generate comments towards the next design phase. The 90% design will include the following
drawings:
• Title Sheet
• An area location map and legal description of property.
• General Notes, abbreviation and code information.
• Floor plan drawn at an architectural scale that will allow the entire are of work to be
shown on one sheet,without break-lines and with notes and dimensions.
• Exterior Elevations.
• Window and Door Schedules.
• Structural Engineering: Drawings indicating window pressures for each window.
Services for Article A will be provided under a lump sum basis.
Article B— 100%Design
The specific tasks Jacobs will perform are as follows:
After written authorization to proceed and based on the approved 90% Design Phase we will
prepare the construction documents for permit and construction of the building. We will finalize
the construction documents and incorporate final owner comments from the 90% review. The
construction documents will include signed and sealed architectural and structural plans.
Documents shall include all content from the 90%design with the incorporation of final owner
review comments.
Services for Article B will be provided under a lump sum basis.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ASSUMPTIONS
For the purpose of providing a stipulated fee amount,this proposal has been based on the following
qualifications and assumptions:
• As-built documents will be provided by owner.
• Permit issuance related work such as processing plans through City, County,
and/or State agencies,other than plan revisions requested by such agencies,are not
included.
• Government Agency cost for all building and engineering permit fees are not
included in this proposal.
• Bidding Services are not included.
• Construction Administration Services are not included.
• Life Cycle Cost Analysis is not included.
• The testing scope of services along with the construction testing is by others.
• Proposal is based on the existing structural systems having adequate capacity to
properly support the new windows.No modifications to the existing structural
systems are included in this proposal for the base scope of work.

• Municipal Agency and all associated permit fees are to be paid by the client.
Jacobs is not responsible for obtaining any permits. Permits are to be obtained by
the contractor. Jacobs will monitor the contractor's progress through the permit
process for the client and provide follow up periodically with the permitting
agency to verify the status, but it is ultimately the responsibility of the contractor
to obtain all permits.
• Other services not described in the scope of work.
Items identified as not included or limited in the scope of services can be provided or
expanded upon as additional services under a separate agreement or supplemental to this
agreement.
REFERENCES
The client will need to provide the following documentation to Jacobs before commencing with
our scope of work.
• As-built documentation of the existing facility.

We anticipate completion of the deliverables in accordance with the following schedule:

to replace the current non-impact windows and doors at MTH Airport Terminal Rehabilitation.
This is approved in the amount of$49,565.00
Based on the information provided,FDOT concurs with Monroe County's request.Only expenses incurred
on or after the date of the fully executed JPA/PTGA and otherwise eligible under the Agreement shall be
reimbursed to Monroe County Airports.
