LOUIS CARBONELL CLERK OF THE CRIMINAL COURT OF RECORD MONROE COUNTY For the period beginning Hay 1, 1961 , and ending July B1 , 196g, and present this report thereon. COMMENTS Prenumbered receipts were issued for all collections of record and were entered in a cashbook, as required by Chapter 219, Florida Statutes. All collections were deposited in an official bank account. No Juror payrolls or payroll advances were on hand at July 31, 1963. Juror payroll receipts and disbursements during the audit period are summarized as follows: RECEIPTS FROM COMPTROLLER FOR PAYROLL ADVANCES $26,500.00 DISBURSEMENTS : JUROR PAYROLLS $ 9, 107.35 REFUNDS TO COMPTROLLER 17,392.65 Total $26 ,500.00 Fines and costs from Criminal Court convictions were collected by the Sheriff. 1 The Board of County Commissioners paid the Clerk' s monthly salary of $500 as prescribed by Chapter 57-810, Acts of 1957. Correct retirement deductions were made and remitted by the county. The Clerk' s employee was paid by the county and proper retirement deductions were made. COMMENTS All collections of record were accounted for by remittances or by cash on hand , Fees collected were deposited monthly in the County Fine and Forfeiture Fund, as required by Chapter 59 -728, Acts of 1959.
