Key West International Airport Noise Insulation Program

Project No. 404-630227-37-80
Dear Ms. Socha:
Pursuant to Special Provision No. 2, please consider this letter as Notice to Proceed - Permits,
which includes administrative procedures necessary to procure lead items, provide submittals
for review by the Program Manager, obtain necessary permits, and other pre-mobilization tasks
for the above referenced contract dated October 16, 2024.
The Contractor shall commence the work to be performed under this agreement on Thursday,
November 7, 2024. Pursuant to Special Provision No. 3,the Contract Time to Complete is set forth
as follows:
NOTICE TO PROCEED DESCRIPTION CONTRACTTIMETO
COMPLETE
This notice shall allowthe Contractorto obtain
any necessary construction permits required
NOTICE TO PROCEED- to accomplish the work.Also,duringthis time,
PERMITS the Contractor shall order and deliver 119 Calendar Days
materials, equipment and supplies needed to
complete the work. No on-site construction
activities shall be accomplished.
NOTICE TO PROCEED- Noise Insulation Improvements at 10 houses 116 Calendar Days
CONSTRUCTION in Key West,designated as Group 1.
TOTAL CONTRACT TIME: 235 Calendar Days
Please provide a fully developed overall Construction Schedule to the Program Manager for review
and approval within ten (10) days of this NTP (effective November 7, 2024) pursuant to Section
01310 1.05.
The County will be issuing a Notice to Proceed - Construction, effective on approximately
Thursday, March 6, 2025, pursuant to Special Provision No. 2. A second Pre-Construction
Meetingwill be held approximately Thursday, March 6, 2023;time and location to be determined.

Dear Mr. Persaud:
Please consider this letter as Notice to Proceed with Construction for the above contract dated
October 16, 2024.
The Program Manager has approved the schedule and has confirmed that the Contractor has
obtained all the necessary permits.
Pursuant to Special Provision No. 2, the Construction and Post Construction Closeout Contract Time
of 116 Calendar Days will begin on Monday, May 12, 2025, the effective date of this Notice to
Proceed for Construction.
It is expected the Contractor will begin construction on May 12, 2025.
