ITEM BACKGROUND:
The Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC)was created by the BOCC pursuant to Florida
Statute 420.9076. Resolution 062-2009 defined the method of appointments by each District
Commissioner for committee members, and specified the term of office to coincide with the term of the
appointing Commissioner.
Previous BOCC District 3 Appointment by Mayor Pro Tem Scholl was Joseph"Joe" Walsh. Joe Walsh
is Mayor Pro Tem Scholl's Re-Appointment to the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
February 18, 2009 Approval of Resolution 062-2009 directing the method of appointments for AHAC
membership.
