Additionally, after payment is received, authorizing the County Administrator to sign the Bills of Sale, Absolute, or other title transfer documentation, as may be applicable. ITEM BACKGROUND: Certain surplus units and equipment were approved to be removed from County inventory at the February 21, 2024 BOCC meeting (Agenda Item M2-2023-2135), October 16, 2024 BOCC meeting (Agenda Item M4-2023-3159), and January 15, 2025 BOCC meeting (Agenda Item M2-2023-3537). Notice of Request for Competitive Solicitations was advertised in local newspapers: KW Citizen and Key West Weekly on 5/8/2025, and News Barometer on 5/9/2025. The bid tabulation spreadsheet noting the bids for each surplus item is attached and sets forth the highest bidder for each surplus unit/equipment to be awarded. If the highest bidder fails to complete the purchase transaction after reasonable notification of the award and time limits in which to respond, then authorization to award to the next highest bidder(s)until final disposition of the surplus units and equipment is complete in accordance with Monroe County Purchasing Policy Manual("Manual"). Following payment, the County Administrator may be required to sign the Bills of Sale, Absolute, or other title transfer documentation, as may be applicable, and such authority is consistent with the requirements set forth in the Manual, as well.
