This Task Order is entered into on the effective date noted above pursuant to the "Master Agreement for
Professional Services" between Monroe County, Florida ("Client") and McFarland Johnson Inc.
("Consultant"),dated February 16, 2022("Agreement"). The Agreement is incorporated herein and forms
an integral part of this Task Order.
Services Authorized:
Client authorizes Consultant to add Subconsultants as further described in Appendix A attached hereto and
incorporated herein,which Appendix A is marked with the above noted Task Order No. and consists of one
(1)page.

Key West International Airport

CONCOURSE A AND TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
Task Order TIP 2023-01 E
Scope of Additional Services
McFarland-Johnson, Inc. (Consultant) in conjunction with Mead & Hunt, Inc. (Subconsultant) will
provide additional design services for Architectural, Interiors & Lighting Design, Mechanical,
Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Structural professional design services for Monroe
County, Florida (Sponsor/Owner) at the proposed Key West International Airport (Airport)
Concourse A and Terminal improvements project.
In addition to the currently contracted scope of work and design services, this proposal includes
the following increase in scope of work:
Holdroom Furniture Revisions:
Per Owner and airline request, rework previously approved layout of holdroom furniture in Gates
6,7, and 8 to provide more seating.
Design Scope of Work/Services:
Re-layout furniture in holdroom areas.
Coordinate electrical outlets required to support powered seating.
Adjust furniture schedule and assist dealer with revising purchase order listing.
Provide expedited drawings and imagery for Owner's review and approval, for dealer to develop
proposal for purchase order, coordinate and provide electrical power layouts. Coordinate and
provide updated sketches to CMaR.
New Lounge and Bathroom for Owner:
Per Owner request, rework previously approved layout of Airport Offices 259, 260, 261, and 262
to provide an ADA accessible toilet, lavatory, and shower, and lounge area with wardrobes.
Design Scope of Work:
• Rework of area as described above including coordination and lighting, electrical, plumbing,
and HVAC design.
New walls, ceilings, floor finishes, and furniture.
New door hardware for door affected by new layout.
Provide drawings, material selections, and imagery for Owner's review and approval, and CMaR
pricing, specifications for furniture dealer to develop proposal for purchase order, and
coordinate utilities layouts.
Flood Mitigation:
Per Owner request, rework previously approved construction drawings to provide flood
mitigation provisions to prevent water intrusion due to typical thunderstorm wind-driven rail into
new baggage claim and rental car areas through portals of doorways and bag belt openings.
Note: This does not provide any form of storm-proofing of the facility due to an actual storm
related flood event.
Scope of Work:
Identify practical mitigation measures at these portals.
Provide aluminum and glass vestibule with automatic sliding door at doors 200C and 200D.
Rework of portals with permanent supports for removeable pre-fabricated physical barriers
including coordination with structural requirements.
• Provide drawings, material selections, and imagery for providing mitigation measures at these
portals for Owner's review and approval, and CMaR pricing, specifications for CMaR to develop
proposal for change order.
Gate 8 Vestibule Addition:
Per Owner's request, provide an aluminum and glass enclosed outer vestibule to the current
Vestibule Room 339.
Design Scope of Work:
Add an aluminum and glass vestibule in front of the Gate 8 door to match other gates.
Provide design for vestibule, new ceiling, lighting fixtures, data, and power to match other
gates.
Relocate gate counter and FIDS back counter.
Revise layout and reduce seating furniture as required.
Relocate pendant lights at gate counter.
Replace existing door with storefront door to match other gates.
Services Include:
Provide drawings for Gate 8 vestibule, for Owner's review and approval, for all Disciplines to
develop for the work. Incorporate Owner review comments and develop final construction
documents to be included as part of a construction contract change order. Provide and
coordination with Structural for vestibule framing, Wayfinding, Electrical, and IT designs.
The additional project team subconsultants are required to advance and complete the
previously approved Task Order TIP 2023-01. Additional project team subconsultants will be
paid out of previously approved funding.
Additional Fee:
Consultant— $33,000
Subconsultant— $65,995
Total $98,995 lump sum fee
