A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL MILLAGE RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Monroe County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of
Chapters 129 and 200, Florida Statutes, did conduct a Public Hearing on September 10, 2025, at 5:05 p.m. at
the Murray E. Nelson Government Center, 102050 Overseas Highway, Key Largo, 33037, Monroe County,
Florida and via Communications Media Technology ("CMT") using a Zoom Webinar platform, to amend
and adopt a Final Millage Rate for each district for Fiscal Year 2026,now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that the following Millage Rates be adopted as the Final Millage Rates for Fiscal Year 2026, and
is hereby adopted as follows:
County Commissioners 2.7327
General Purpose MSTU 0.1756
Local Road Patrol Law Enforcement Dist. 0.2889
Lower and Middle Keys Fire&Amb.Dist. 1 1.9076
Middle Keys Health Care MSTU 0.1125
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the aggregate millage rate be adopted as the Final
Aggregate Millage Rate is 3.3965 for Fiscal Year 2026 which is higher than the rolled-back millage rate of
3.1157 by 9.01%.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a
meeting of said Board held on the loth day of September, AD 2025.
