RE: Notice of Lease Termination—201 Key Deer Boulevard, Unit 4132 Big Pine Key, Florida 33043
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Lessee, MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, has elected to terminate its Lease dated March 10, 2021, as amended, with
Lessors, BIG PINE KEY OWNER LLC, for the property located at 201 Key Deer Boulevard, Unit 4132
Big Pine Key, Florida 33043. This Lease is being terminated pursuant to Paragraph 20.33 of said Lease.
Monroe County has secured a County-owned building which provides adequate space for the District 2
Commissioner's Office located in Big Pine Key. Therefore, in accordance with Paragraph 20.33 of the
Lease, it is appropriate that Monroe County terminate its Lease for the above Premises by giving the
required sixty (60) days written notice.
Monroe County will vacate and surrender the leased Premises unto Lessor within the sixty (60) days'
time period, with said notice period expiring not later than close of business on October 4th, 2025.
Monroe County will have completely vacated the Premises by the above-stated deadline and arranged
for all of the utilities held in the name of Lessee to be turned off upon its move-out date. If the Lessors
would rather just transfer the accounts to its name, however, Lessors should inform the Lessee as soon
as possible.
THIS NOTICE OF LEASE TERMINATION IS GIVEN PURSUANT TO APPLICABLE LAW AND
IN NO WAY IMPAIRS ANY OF THE OTHER REMEDIES OR RIGHTS OF THE LESSOR OR
LESSEE UNDER THE LEASE AGREEMENT OR UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
