Re: Termination of Agreement for Volunteer Fire Rescue and Ambulance Services
Dear President Mumper:
The Monroe County Board of County Commissioners, acting on behalf of Monroe County,
Florida, ("we," "us," or "our") hereby provides this notice of termination of the above-referenced
Agreement dated October 7, 1992 (as amended). This termination letter is consistent with the fact that
Key Largo Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. ("you" or "your") no longer provides services to the County
pursuant to the above-referenced Agreement. Please allow this letter to serve as our official notification
of termination of our Agreement effective at 11:59 PM on December 31, 2025. Please note that this
termination letter does not impact any other agreements between the County and Key Largo Volunteer
Fire Department, Inc., including but not limited to any mutual aid agreements, etc.
