Please disregard this letter to the extent there is no affiliation between Marathon Fire Rescue Benevolent
Association,Inc.and Marathon Volunteer Fire Department,Inc.Due to the passage of time,there is no ascertainable
record of contact information for the Marathon Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. In an abundance of caution, this
letter was prepared to terminate the above-referenced agreement.
The Monroe County Board of County Commissioners, acting on behalf of Monroe County,Florida,hereby
provides this notice of termination of the above-referenced Agreement dated June 18, 1997 (as amended). This
termination letter is consistent with the fact that the Marathon Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.has either dissolved
or no longer provides services to the County pursuant to the Agreement. Please allow this letter to serve as the
County's official notification of termination of the Agreement effective at 11:59 PM on December 31, 2025.
