AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to advertise Request for Qualifications (RFQs) for Airport
Consultant Services (Financial, General Engineering and Financial Advisor) for the Key West
International Airport and The Florida Keys Marathon International Airport.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Under FAA guidelines, airports have to place Airport Consultant Services out to bid approximately
every five years. The most recent RFQ process was done in 2021-2022.
PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION:
On March 17, 2021, the BOCC approved the Airport Financial Advisor Agreement, and on February 16,
2022, the BOCC approved Master Agreements for General Engineering Consulting Services and for
Financial Consulting Services.
