RE: DAC V `AT LARGE' VACANCY
Please announce the following District V Advisory Committee "At Large" Vacancy at the
February 18, 2026 BOCC Meeting. This position is being advertised due to Michael Mayer's
end of term.
DISTRICT V ADVISORY COMMITTEE (DAC V)
(From Mile Marker 90.940 to the Dade/Monroe County Line and any Mainland portions of
Monroe County)
of the
MONROE COUNTY TOURIST DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
has an opening for an
"At Large" representative - Any resident who is not directly involved in a tourism business
and who shall represent the general public and shall live or work within the tax collection
district for which they are applying. (The operative word within this description is directly.
This means no direct involvement by an applicant in a business or economic activity that is
dependent upon tourism).
Any person wishing to participate on the District V Advisory Committee of the Monroe County
Tourist Development Council within the district so noted above, may request an application by
