ITEM BACKGROUND: Dr. Jim "Doc" Boilini is an optometrist who has played an instrumental role in the construction and operation of the Jacob's Aquatic Center. Over the years, Doc has worked diligently alongside fellow community members to operate and sustain the facility. In addition, he has served on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board for an extended period, demonstrating unwavering commitment, hands-on involvement, and steadfast advocacy. Through his dedication, Doc has played a vital role in ensuring that the community's parks and facilities continue to operate, improve, and thrive. One idea would be to name the soon to be renovated pirate pool as "Doe's Eyeland" in recognition of his continued service and lasting impact on our community, both as a community leader and an optometrist.
